Thank you for your rescue application. We have two committee members who review all the applications every time a new dog enters the rescue program. They also review applications when we receive  requests from people who want to re-home their dogs directly. We look for the best match between the dog's needs and the adopting home's life style. One dog might do best with lots of exercise in an active family with other dogs and children; another might need to be an only dog in a quiet home with an older couple. Sometimes there are health or temperament issues to consider. We keep and consider applications for six months after they are received.
